Barack's historic moment: He lived up to the hope of millions
After Barack Obama's speech last night and his clear articulation of what he plans to do as president, I feel, for the first time, he has a real chance to win in November. He made clear distinctions between his plans for the country and compared each to John McCain and the failed Bush policies. I remember hearing JFK was I was young and this speech, although different in the absence of flowery prose usually found in his previous speeches, he was electrifying. I was proud to be an American, proud that as a people we selected Barack Obama as a candidate, and finally proud to be a part of this historic moment in time. The setting of the Football stadium contributed to the feeling of an unstoppable movement that will win and take the White House in November.
God Bless America!
