Gonzales's "but"....

I heard a doosey minutes ago on C-Span, where the Attorney General, Alberto Gonzales, was speaking to the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. Here's the quote, "U.S. Attorney's should prosecute cases based upon the facts and not based upon whether they are Democrats or Republicans, BUT they serve at the pleasure of the President and are political appointments........"

Here's that "but" again that erases everything that comes before that word.
